Mikrochem Laboratories a.s. were founded in 1994, following the privatization of microbiology department of Regional hygienic station in Olomouc. Currently, Mikrochem Laboratories a.s. have got three more working sites - in Přerov, Valašské Meziříčí and Šumperk which were established gradually in 1996, 2001 and 2002/2003.
Mikrochem Laboratories a.s. offer a range of various examinations:
1. Bacteriological examinations of every biological material
2. Immunological and serological examinations
3. Mycological examinations
4. Virological examinations , including HIV certificate
5. Parasitological examinations, including detection of tropical diseases
6. Diagnostics of TBC infections
7. Molecular genetics methods (PCR, Gen-probe examination)
Aforesaid examinations are performed in ambulant medical centers in regions of Olomouc, Uničov, Šternberk, Litovel, Prostějov, Přerov, Otrokovice, Šumperk, Jeseník, Valašské Meziříčí and Rožnov pod Radhoštěm.
Our laboratories also provide specialized laboratory services for University Hospital Olomouc and for Military Hospital Olomouc.
We operate our own courier service which picks up the biological specimen material and delivers result reports to our customers if these had not been sent via electronic mail.
Mikrochem Laboratories work in close and long-term cooperation with biochemical and hematological laboratory BILA s.r.o. domiciled in Zábřeh na Moravě. Thus, we are able to provide examinations even from the field of biochemistry and hematology. Link: www.laboratorbila.cz
Our laboratories regularly participate in SEKK spol. s.r.o. control cycles and in external quality evaluation organized by AP CEM, always earning an outstanding rating.
Mikrochem Laboratories are registered in the Program for raising the quality of healthcare guaranteed by the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic and we meticulously fulfill all criteria to develop the quality of our services.
Our working site in Olomouc has been already issued a Certificate of Accreditation by the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic for specialized education in the field of medical microbiology.
Currently, all our divisions are going through the accreditation process according to special quality and capacity criteria in compliance with ČSN EN ISO 15189.
